XGN66-12 indoor type alternating-current metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as switchgear) is a new generation of HV electrical appliance set. It complies with GB3906 Alternating-current metal-enclosed switchgear for rated voltage of 3~35kV, DL404 Indoor AC high voltage switchgear panel, and IEC60298 A.C. metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear for rated voltages above 1kV and up to and including 52kV. 
This switchgear adopts overseas advanced technologies, is designed and developed independently by our company, which solved the problems of high trouble rate and large size of similar products. It is featured with small size (only half volume of common cabinet), good breaker performance, high reliability, reliable and simple “five-prevention” interlocking mechanism, etc. 
It is applicable for three-phase single-bus segment systems of AC50Hz and 3.6-12KV, used for electric energy receiving and distribution, it controls, protects and monitors the circuits. It is widely used in power plants, substations, and industrial and mining enterprises, high-rise buildings, also can be used in switching stations with ring main unit. 
● Ambient temperature: -10℃~40℃; 
● Altitude: not exceed 1000m; 
● Daily mean of relative air humidity not exceed 95%, monthly mean not exceed 90%; daily mean of water vapor not exceed 2.2×10-3Mpa, monthly mean not exceed 1.8×10-3Mpa; 
● Cabinet body is made of angle steel by welding. 
● Circuit breaker chamber is located in the middle (lower) part of cabinet, it is convenient to install, debug and maintain. It is equipped with ZN63A(VS1-12) circuit breaker as the standard, and has pressure release channel that ensures personal safety. 
● Adoption of advanced and reliable rotary isolating switch that make it possible to enter into breaker chamber for overhaul under live condition of main bus. 
● Ingress protection level of the whole cabinet is IP2X. 
● Reliable and compulsory mechanical interlocking device that has complete functions and meet the “five-prevention” requirements. 
● Reliable ground system. 
● Inspection window in the door is convenient to view the working state of components inside the cabinet. 
● It adopts the same locking mechanism JSXGN with that of XGN2-12 switchgear for operating mechanism, which is simple and reliable to use. 
● Incoming and outgoing cables are lower than the front part of cabinet bottom that is convenient for user to connect.
